Aloha!

As a community stakeholder, we ask for your kōkua (help) in sharing the Spirit of Aloha. E Ala E Hawaiian Cultural Center (EHCC) is hosting an event and invites you to join us in making a difference by giving back to our community!

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit Hawaiian cultural organization serving the Washington, D.C. area since 2017. Our mission is to preserve and perpetuate the vibrancy of the Native Hawaiian people and culture and to create an inclusive community for people from all backgrounds to share the Spirit of Aloha.

As a part of our 2022 programs, which provide hands-on, culture-based events for all, our last event will be a gala to honor our Hulu Kūpuna (Precious Elders). We would be privileged for your company’s support.

• What: Holokū Ball (a holokū is a Hawaiian gown typically worn to formal events)
• When: Friday, December 2, 2022
• Where: Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel
• Time: 6:00PM – 10:00PM

Here are some details of our gala:

• 100+ guests
• Cocktail reception and Hawaiian-style dinner buffet
• Entertainment by Hawaiian singer/songwriter, Kuana Torres Kahele, accompanied by hula dancers from our community
• Fashion Show where our kūpuna (elders) and others can share their beautiful holokū
• Live auction

Your company’s sponsorship would give you an opportunity to showcase your business both in-person and through media exposure (Please email us your company logo in a High Resolution .png file). Also, your company will be promoted at all our educational and cultural programs. More importantly, you will foster the Spirit of Aloha by providing complimentary tickets to our hulu kūpuna.

We’re unable to be a sponsor at this time, but would like to make a donation to support your event.
