About the Event

ʻAHA MAKUA (LAND) Respectable, hardworking, detail-oriented, stable, reliable, cautious, punctual, practical. In esoteric wisdom, land relates to the body. If you do not look after yourself and are unfit or unhealthy, it becomes more challenging to support energies generated by the other elements. Land represents grounding, the foundation for life, and family roots.

Share our 'Aha Makua - Healthy Mind, Body, and Spirit Seminar with all. To support the grounding of self, we are honored to have Dr. Kekoa and Pele Harman, a husband-and-wife duo from Hawaiʻi, spread awareness about indigenous culture, language, and traditional practices, thru Hula (Dance), Lomilomi (Massage), and Laʻau Lapaʻau (Healing with Whole Foods).

We also welcome Wendell Navalta, a University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa alumni with over 30 years of martial arts experience and owner of Mana Personal Training, LLC here in Sykesville, Maryland, who will share meditative practices to center mind, body, and spirit.
